all I gotta say is this: I am giving Dmusic the energy that it has given me this year.. not much. Meanwhile, I have discovered something new.. web 2.0... I used to put a lot of energy into Dmusic.. links on my website to the download page, blurbs on forums about Dmusic, talking and emailing friends, posting on my page, etc., not to mention considerable monetary investment in what they offer here. But, frankly, this site has become stagnant.. I can now offer slideshows, my own little music store that I control, and all kinds of neat video widgets on my site.. web 2.0 ... I can be gone for weeks and have absolutely no traffic whatsoever here on my page, the same dozen people posting about the same old issues, and no progress in interactivity..you look at the artist online page and you see what? twelve folks.. come on, now!.. other than the cool emoticons, there is not much to interest me here anymore.. WEB 2.0 that makes Dmusic somewhat of a dinosaur.. wake up and smell the tarpit, dudes!

IT AIN'T OVER YET.
OK... here is the whole story. On Tues, May 1, came a knock at the door. The couple that had been looking at the building where we live came to announce that they had bought the place and, to make a long story short, said we had 30 days to move.. so we began to search German Village for a new location... craigslist was a great place to search, btw..
and we found a townhouse around the corner. And as the owner was showing me the townhouse, I noticed a complete house for rent across the alley.. for $5 bucks more than we were paying. So I called the rental agency, left an application and arranged for an appointment. Turns out the house was too small and in bad shape and behind a major restaurant, Lindey's, that had a noisy patio.. The guy showing us the house mentioned another location that was about to come onto the market, the guy had moved out the week before. I asked where it was, and he said,"City Park Ave." YOU'RE KIDDING! I said.. it was across the street! So we asked him to show us that place and sure enough.. it is a cute little house with it's own driveway and garage.. and we could afford it.. so we are going to sign the lease Tuesday and move across the street AGAIN! So after I vote on the cover contest, I probably will be gone for a week or two while I transfer the account to the new address...

Where have I been? Well, for one, my fabulous DSL phone line was DOWN for a week.. they had to replace the line outside.. critters had chewed the old one! Whew! Glad to be back online!!! I am opening a new cafe here is town this week.. this place is SWANKY! more pics and info soon. Working on my cover as well .. sculls are shakin' 'round here!! Also working on a video to go with my JzzPOP CD.. will post it when I am finished.. and spring has FINALLY hit Ohio.. kinda wakes one up, ya know? All for now.. will be back soon!

Sorry to be gone for so long but I got a new mp3 player! 2 gigs is all I can handle for now.. So I had to reorganize my tunes and shows.. and tag them with ID3.. took a week!

My new years rez.. be more active in the dmusic communtiy.. now that I am "broad" band
, I will look for collabs, more interaction, keeping up with dmusic friends. To you all and yours.. mostly peace in the new year.. with a little jazz on the side....

Also, Palm Springs, California was GREAT!! I had a gig there last Saturday,(Nov. 18th) and WOW! what views, what weather, what swimming! I am back in Ohio now and getting ready for my annual Holiday shows.. will upload a new tune IF dmusic music page gets fixed.. for now, peace!

Kinda depressed...
I am getting pulled back into the political workings here in Ohio, USA.. we are in such DANGER here of losing what democracy we have.. the Secretary of State, who owns part of the very voting machines used here, is running for Governor on a stupid Christian Taliban platform.. if he wins, and he very well might, seeing as how he spearheaded the CHEATING that went on in the last election here for the Presidental "election..," we are in
deep! Gigs are dissappearing here fast, what with the gas prices and all.. a lot of friends of mine are way down on their schedules.. we are the artistic
canaries and it ain't lookin too good right now.. but I will carry on
and continue to work on the music as much as I can.. look for uploads soon...
